Bina Marga Dept. has completed revision on Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin sidewalk arrangement design. Design concept of this 1.6 kilometers sidewalk will be announced next week.

We just need approval from Jakarta Governor regarding its announcement

Jakarta Secretary's Assistant for Development and Environment Head, Gamal Sinurat stated, design has been revised based on governor instructions.

"Bina Marga Dept has revised sidewalk arrangement design which is conceptualized at governor requests. Next week, its design is ready to be announced," he mentioned, Monday (3/5).

But currently, he is not yet willing to explain revised design concept in details. But he informed, some technical concepts have changed, such as drainage system and other spots in sidewalk.

"We just need approval from Jakarta Governor regarding its announcement. But surely, the spots in sidewalk can be also functioned as cultural spot," he said.
