Save Baby's Life, Anies Appreciates Performance of Firefighter

I invited them to City Hall to express my appreciation

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan gave deepest appreciation to six firefighters of Jakarta Fire and Rescue Dept. who served in Pasar Minggu Sector 9 by inviting them lunch together.

It was given, as they succeeded in rescuing a 4.5-year-old baby, Nuraisah who was caught in a ditch, Jalan Hortikultura, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. Those six personnel are Ari Santoso, Adi Ismanto, Andang Wichaksono, Jumadi, M Taufik, and Ibnu Zar Alghifari.

"I invited them to City Hall to express my appreciation. This is an example for other officers in the field to be able to work quickly in action," he expressed, Tuesday (3/6).

He asked the related regional working unit (SKPD) to give attention to the victim thus can quickly recover, including psychically., including psychic.

"It's not just physical injuries that need attention, but also traumatic experiences. It must be monitored and assisted in need of counseling," he asserted.

Pasar Minggu Group A Sector 9 Platoon Head, Ari Santoso uttered that rescue process began after his party received a report from local residents on Monday (3/5) at around 8.40 PM.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), after about 60 minutes, we managed to save the baby," he said.
