Vice Gov. Listens Cyclist Communities Aspirations

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno listens cyclist communities aspirations to know their needs in doing their cycling routine.

We want to encourage more people to do cycling

He mentioned, Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to cooperate with cycling communities in Jakarta such as Bike to Work, MTB Federal Indonesia, and Rocketers by providing a fair policy for cyclists.

Jakarta Government is committed to provide a more friendly space for cyclists," he stated after holding audience themed "Jakarta Sahabat Sepeda" at City Hall, Wednesday (3/7).

Sudirman-Thamrin Sidewalk will Be Equipped With Bicycle Lanes

According to him, cyclist communities conveyed their evaluation about existing bicycle lanes. This request will be accommodated by City Government, including to ask building managements to provide proper facilities for cyclists.

"We will remind building owners to provide changing rooms, bathrooms, and secure bicycle parking area," he explained.

He added, he welcomes cyclist communities' intention to do cycling activity every Friday.

"We want to encourage more people to do cycling," he affirmed.
