Sudirman-MH Thamrin sidewalk arrangement that has 6.6 kilometers long will be equipped with culture and education spots.
Concept for this sidewalk is not only used for pedestrian but it will be also equipped with expression spaces
Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. Head, Yusmada Faizal mentioned, Jalan Sudirman-MH Thamrin sidewalk will be prepared for four culture spots. Those spots will be located in front of Panin Building, under Semanggi bridge, in front of BNI 46, and in front of Landmark building.
"Concept for this sidewalk is not only used for pedestrian but it will be also equipped with expression spaces," he explained, Wednesday (3/7).
Sudirman-Thamrin Sidewalk will Be Equipped With Bicycle LanesBesides, his side will prepare glass flooring in sidewalk for education purpose. Through transparent flooring, pedestrian can look directly at the infrastructure networks under sidewalk.
"It is called education spot. We will install transparent glass for flooring to educate people that under sidewalk there are utility networks and pipes," he conveyed.
