Jakarta Industry and Energy (PE) Dept. held workshop and mentoring Small Medium Industries (IKM)s of food and beverage for e-Smart application in department office.
UKM-IKM Products must Be Marketed During Asian GamesJakarta PE Dept.'s Industry Division Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo informed, this activity was attended by 35 coached IKMs in five Jakarta regions that already have its own brands and packaging. "This is particularly for food and beverage IKMs. Today, we will give the theory and next week will be practice," she mentioned, Tuesday (3/13).
She explained, her side also invited OK OCE Movement Society General Secretary, Iim Rusyamsi as the workshop speaker. "This becomes our responsibility to teach IKM about the way to promote their products better," she conveyed.
According to her, participants were taught how to sell their product by online. Its purpose is to make IKM products can compete with others and can be accessed by wider communities.
"We want to support them since they actually has opportunities to access marketing by online," she added.
Meanwhile, OK OCE Movement Society General Secretary, Iim Rusyamsi said, IKM needs to prepare proper products for distribution in this digital era by fulfilling some requirements. Such as Food Industry License (PIRT) from Jakarta Health Dept. (Dinkes).
"PIRT license for low risk food and beverages type. While for high risk, they should get license from BPOM," he stated.
He explained, during this activity, IKM actors were also taught to design packaging, sell products by online, and compile a good financial report thus consumers loyalty can be maintained.
