Governor Attends Inauguration of BI Representative for Jakarta

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan attends to inauguration of Trisno Nugroho as new Jakarta Bank Indonesia (BI) Representative Head which is originally held by Doni Primanto Joewono.

He appreciates and expresses his gratitude for all cooperation that have been done between Jakarta Provincial Government with BI representative for Jakarta under Doni Primanto Joewono.

"I hope Mr. Doni is doing great in his new workplace," he said at Thamrin Building, Bank Indonesia Office Complex, Jl. MH. Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (3/14).

He wants to continue the existing cooperation. Especially related to cashless system.

"Jakarta Provincial Government has strategic position with total City Budget Rp 77.2 trillion  We want planned program to keep supporting BI," he added.

Anies hopes, new BI Representatives for Jakarta to continue maintaining the integrity.

"Let us maintain our well-built integrity," he expressed.

Meanwhile, BI Governor, Agus Martowardjojo welcomes Jakarta Governor initiative for implementing cashless system, including for taxes payment.

"Jakarta Government has OK OTax program. Its purpose is to optimize regional income from tax sector through efficient and easy payment thus transparency and accountability could be realized," he explained.
