Afternoon, Rain Predicted to Fall in Some Jakarta Areas

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Board (BMKG) predicted Jakarta will be partly sunny today. But in the afternoon, light moderate rain will fall in several areas.

Please be aware of rain with lightning and strong wind in South Jakarta and East Jakarta this late afternoon

"Morning is partly sunny with light rain falls in Seribu Islands," informed Hary Tirto Djatmiko, Head Division of BMKG's Public Relation, Monday (3/19).

Rain to Hit Part of Jakarta Area Today

In the afternoon, light rain will fall in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta and moderate rain in East Jakarta and South Jakarta. Night until dawn will be cloudy.

Temperature could reach 24-32 Celsius degree with humidity 65-95 percent. West-northwest wind velocity to reach around 05-25 kilometers per hour.

"Please be aware of rain with lightning and stro ng wind in South Jakarta and East Jakarta this late afternoon," he mentioned.
