34 Tons of Waste Transported From Muara Angke

Dozens tons of waste have been transported from Mangrove Forest area, Muara Angke, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. The area is targeted to be cleaned by this week.

Seribu Islands Environment (LH) Sub-dept. Head, Yusen Hardiman said, his side has deployed hundreds personnel and amphibious excavators to transport those waste from Saturday (3/17).

"We deploy hundreds joint personnel from LH Dept., Water Resources Unit, and PPSU. We transport 19 tons of waste on Saturday while on Sunday is 15 tons," he explained, Monday (3/19)

Trash Pilling in Muara Angke Mangrove Forest Area Cleaned

Currently, his side also deployed spider excavators and four boats since most waste is located in water.

"Mostly it is plastic waste," he conveyed.
