17,448 OK OCE Participants Entered P2 Phase

17,488 participants of One Kecamatan One Center for Entrepreneurship (OK OCE) program have entered training phase (P2). While for registration or P1 has reached 59,794 people by March 22, 2018.

We target to create 200 thousand new entrepreneurs in five years

Seeing this trend, Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno is optimistic that OK OCE program can create 40 thousand new entrepreneurs in this first year.

"We target to create 200 thousand new entrepreneurs in five years," he stated while leading OK OCE Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) at City Hall, ThurPusat Pelatihan Kerja Daerahsday (3/22).

OK OCE Training Held in 10 S. Jakarta's Sub-districts

He explained, OK OCE acceptability level in Indonesia to reach 72 percent based on data from an independent agency. This proves that OK OCE movement becomes spotlight in Indonesia. 

''Significantly, Jakarta Provincial Government is very concern about employment issues with activities that empower UMKM. We are committed to support entrepreneurship," he explained. 

He added, OK OCE program in 44 sub-districts in Jakarta will be collaborated with Regional Work Training Center (PPKD). Because currently it is only 10 percent of PPKD trainees who are trained to be entrepreneur.

"We have PPKD in seven locations. Even in Condet is very big, and it will be good if we pair it with OK OCE," he expressed.
