Trash Transporting in Muara Angke Has Reached 90 Percent

116 tons or around 90 percent of trash around Muara Angke Mangrove Forest, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan has been transported. This cleaning is targeted to finish on Sunday (3/25).

Until today, 116 tons of trash has been transported

"Until today, 116 tons of trash has been transported," informed Yusen Hardiman, Seribu Islands Environment Sub-dept. Head, Saturday (3/24).

He added, related institutions are involved in this cleaning and two heavy equipment are deployed thus trash transporting can be done fast.

"Its process reached 90 percent. Today, personnel are still cleaning and it is targeted to finish by tomorrow," he affirmed.

For information, the cleaning is started since last Saturday (3/17).

He plans to plant mangrove on the location after cleaning is completed.
