Jakarta Environment Dept. is about to install a net in Mangrove Forest, Jakarta Bay, Muara Angke, North Jakarta.
We do this to prevent garbage from entering the mangrove forest
According to Isnawa Adji, Head of Jakarta Environment Dept., the net will be installed in Mangrove Forest of Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) in conjunction with the routine cleaning around the Jakarta Bay.
"We do this to prevent garbage from entering the mangrove forest," he expressed, Monday (3/26).
LH Dept. will Plant Mangroves in Muara AngkeTechnically, garbage that netted will be directly pulled by the officers, without damaging the mangrove forest ecosystem.
"After this, similar action will also be done gradually in other mangrove forest areas," he stated.
