LPS in Kelapa Gading will Be Transformed Into RTH

The garbage disposal site (LPS)'s land located on Jalan H Oyar, RT 01/RW 02, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta will be transformed into a green open space (RTH) in the near future.

We'll support by giving trees. Because we want to make the land as RTH

Kelapa Gading Sub-district Head, Manson Sinaga stated his party has closed down a 300-square-meter width as the LPS. "Its existence is in the middle of the neighborhood, that's why we close down," he stated, Monday (3/26).

He added, locals assisted by freelancers and PPSU officers have held communal work at the location. Further, trees will be planted on the land.

"We'll support by giving trees. Because we want to make the land as RTH" he told.

While, Kelapa Gading Sub-district Environment's Executing Unit Head, Basarudin added, to transport garbage, seven units of trucks and two units of shovel have been sent to the location.

"We've transported 72 tons of garbage. Currently we are just focusing on the finalization of the land," he said.
