Commission E and SKPDs Review Priority Development Program

City Council's Commission E with some SKPDs in public welfare field, held work meeting to review priority development programs in RPJMD 2017-2022 on Wednesday (4/4).

Many programs are submitted in RPJMD program after we have discussed them

This meeting was led by Commission E Head, Syahrial and followed by Assistant in Public Welfare, Catur Laswanto, and related SKPDs such as Education Dept., Social Dept., Health Dept., Empowerment Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) Dept., Youth and Sport Dept., and Library and Archive Dept.

Jakarta Public Welfare's Secretary Assistant, Catur Laswanto said Commission E and his side have discussed and explored some priority development programs that needs to be completed, such as universal health coverage program.

"We want in the future, schools can focus in enhancing its quality, including schools with BLUD implementation," he conveyed.

He explained, Jakarta Library and Archive Dept. has programs with focus to increase public interest in reading.

"Surely its facility and infrastructure improvements need to be supported by council in order to increase public interest in reading. Many programs are submitted in RPJMD program after we have discussed them," he mentioned,

Meanwhile, Commission E Head, Syahrial added, his side also submitted several things that need to be completed in RPJMD.

In education field for example, Commission E wants related institution to not only think about school renovation but also school quality.

"In the future we hope many foreign children will choose to school in Jakarta," he expressed.

For health, Commission E reminds the important of service quality improvement for Jakartans.
