Sandi Wants Residents to Monitor Liquor Circulation

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno wants residents to actively participate in monitoring liquor circulation, especially adulterated liquor.

Certainly, adulterated liquor is a violation towards Law and applicable regulations

According to him, adulterated liquor circulation is quite unsettling. Moreover, it causes deaths.

Tens of Liquor Bottles in Duren Sawit Raided

"I instruct all apparatuses in sub-district, urban village, RT/RW and residents to be active in monitoring liquor circulation," he stated at City Hall, Thursday (4/5).

He explained, Jakarta Provincial Government will also increase its synergy with law enforcers to solve this liquor circulation.

"We will cooperate with police and BBPOM to remind us to be aware. Officially, we urge residents for not consuming liquor, especially adulterated liquor since it is very dangerous," he added.

He mentioned, there are also regulation such as Perda and Permendag that regulate about liquor procurement, circulation, and distribution. Thus these regulations need to be enforced.

"It has been regulated. Certainly, adulterated liquor is a violation towards Law and applicable regulations," he affirmed.
