Central Jakarta Opens Festival Olahraga Rakyat

Central Jakarta Government holds Festival Olahraga Rakyat Sepanjang Tahun, particularly for futsal competition at PORS field, Serdang Urban Village, Kemayoran. This festival is participated by sub-district delegation teams, from elementary school, junior high, and senior high school levels.

"The most important thing from this match is to build strong friendship between students in Central Jakarta,"said Mangara Pardede, Central Jakarta Mayor, in his speech, Saturday (4/7).

This festival purpose is also to socialize Asian Games 2018 to public.

"We choose this location because PORS field, Kemayoran, is an open area and located near settlements," he explained.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Youth and Sport Sub-dept. Head, Tedi Cahyono said, this festival also displays OK OCE merchant's products. "We hold this event every Saturday and Sunday. It is also participated by futsal team winners at sub-district levels," he stated.
