KJMU Ensured to Be Programmed in RPJMD

Jakarta Council's Regulation Forming Board (Bapemperda) ensures Jakarta Leading Student Card (KJMU) program is included in RPJMD 2018-2022.

In Anies-Sandi period, we want the receivers to be increased from 15 thousand into 20 thousand students in need

Jakarta Council's Bapemperda Deputy Head, Merry Hotma affirmed, KJMU program has been included in RPJMD. Even this program's receiver number is increasing, from 15 thousand into 20 thousand people in five years.

KJMU Receivers Spurred for Achievement

"KJMU is included in RPJMD. In Anies-Sandi period, we want the receivers to be increased from 15 thousand into 20 thousand students in need," she informed, Wednesday (4/11).

She also wants the allocated budget that will be given to KJMU receiver is increased from Rp 18 million into Rp 20 million per year.

"Total budget will be attached in Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD)," she said.

According to her, KJMU program in Jakarta has been running well. Jakarta Education Dept. (Disdik) is requested to support students thus they can be accepted in state university (PTN) to get this program.

"We will encourage Disdik to hold training for SMK and SMA students and prepare them to be the leading students," she conveyed.

For information, there are 2,191 KJMU receivers in 2017. This year, it is increased into 5,638 students who received KJMU funds with total budget allocation Rp 101.4 billion.
