MRT Depot Construction Reaches 92.5 Percent

PT. MRT Jakarta Director, William P. Sabandar said, Lebak Bulus Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Depot construction is entering finishing phase. His side ensures construction of Depot that located on Jalan R.A. Kartini, South Jakarta will be completed in 2018.

"Currently Lebak Bulus MRT Depot construction has reached 92.5 percent. It means all equipment have been installed and now is entering finishing phase," he conveyed, Friday (4/13).
He explained, Depot that built above 10.5 hectare land is the maintenance center of MRT Jakarta trains, which is functioned as train workshop, place to wash trains, office.

Though trains are arrived from Japan, he continued, but the future technician team is Indonesian.
"Later on, technician team will not be from Japan, but from our side since they have been trained for this," he affirmed.
