Cheap Food Packages Distributed at Amir Hamzah RPTRA

Cheap food program is held for Jakarta Pintar (KJP) cardholders and individual service providers (PJLP) at Pegangsaan Urban Village, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Pegangsaan Urban Village Head, Suprayogi said this is the fourth cheap food program held in this year. His side has prepared 700 food packages to fulfill resident needs.

"Resident enthusiasm is quite high. 700 food packages are usually sold out until noon, same as the previous one," he conveyed, Wednesday (4/18).

According to him, food package price is quite affordable than in market. Such as chicken that usually can reach Rp 30 thousand per kilogram, now it is only Rp 13 thousand per kilogram. Meat is sold for Rp 35 thousand per kilogram, 15 chicken eggs are sold for Rp 10 thousand, 5 kilograms of premium quality rice is sold Rp 30 thousand, seven mackerels are sold Rp 13 thousand, and UHT milk per carton (24 packs) is sold Rp 30 thousand.

"Milk is only available for KJP cardholder. Package amount will be adjusted with total KJP cardholders and PPSU in Pegangsaan Urban Village," he explained.

Wahyu, one of Pegangsaan Urban Village PPSU personnel admitted he is very grateful with this program. Besides to help saving money for shopping, those foods can increase family nutritional intake.

"Alhamdulillah, this is very helpful and I can save money to buy side dishes," he said.
