10 New Parks will Be Built in Jakarta

This year Jakarta Forestry Dept. plans to build 10 new parks in Jakarta. It will be done simultaneously with arrangement on 11 existing parks.

Jakarta Forestry Dept. Head, Djafar Muchlisin said, this program budget has been allocated in City Budget 2018 with total Rp 27 billion.

He explained, his plan to build 60 parks per year is according to Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2018-2022 projection. All parks will be built with Taman Maju Bersama (TMB) concept.
"Our target is to have 261 Taman Maju Bersama conceptual parks in 2022. Both new build parks and arranged parks," he added.
He mentioned, 10 new parks will be built this year on Jalan Assakinah, Kebagusan, Pasar Minggu and Jalan Gunung Balong II, Lebak Bulus, Cilandak, South Jakarta.
Next on Jalan Kampung Jati, Rambutan, East Jakarta; Jalan Kendal, Rorotan, Cilincing, North Jakarta; Jalan Lapangan Tembak, East Jakarta; Jalan Madrasah Bawah, Bintaro, South Jakarta; Jalan Kampung Baru, Kembangan, West Jakarta; then Jalan Penggilingan Baru, Dukuh; Jalan Swakarsa, Pondok Kelapa; and Jalan SMU 99, Cibubur, East Jakarta.
