City and TNI Cooperate to Clean Area Under Toll From Trash

Jakarta Provincial Government and TNI cooperate to clean trash under Wiyoto Wiyono Toll, RW 08, Kelurahan Papanggo, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. 150 tons of trash have been transported from two days ago.

Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji said, his side gets assistance from 410 joint personnel from TNI, PPSU, and North Jakarta LH Sub-dept.'s PHL personnel to clean this 60 x 20 square meters area.
Area Under Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Targeted to Be Cleaned in One Month"We need around one month to make it clean. Because trash has piled up to around two meters high," he conveyed, Friday (4/20).
He explained, it needed quite a long time to clean it because this area can't be accessed by truck. His side forced to only use 30 motor cart (germor) to transport the trash.
"After it is done, we will coordinate with related SKPDs and stakeholders to arrange it together with local residents," he affirmed.
North Jakarta Territorial Kodim Officer, Captain Ahmad Sujana explained, his side deploys 90 personnel to help clean the area. He ensured TNI personnel will help transporting trash until area under toll is completely clean.
"We hope the land's owner, PT. CMNP, can be also involved in this cleaning. The solution is to do it together," he stated.
