Jakarta Transportation Dept. will audit all sea transportation management thoroughly after boat engine explosion incident that occurred at Panggang Island Port, Seribu Islands on last Sunday (4/22).

Jakarta Secretary Visits Boat Engine Explosion Victims in Koja RSUDHe explained, sea transportation management audit consists of checking boats for seaworthiness and dock eligibility, measuring boat crew members abilities and supervise sea transportation users behavior.
According to him, sea transportation management audit will be done after National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) and Transportation Ministry's Ship Directorate have finished its investigation.
"Since Seribu Islands has been chosen as national tourism strategic area, we want Seribu Islands to meet all safety and security standards," he stated.
