Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, inaugurated the entrepreneur development center (EDC) at Jakarta Creative Hub, Jalan Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

In this place, he stated, the beginner entrepreneurs can develop the entrepreneurial spirit and create the character of their leadership.

On that occasion, Sandi who also opened the tourismpreneur workshop added, tourism is one sector that absorbs a lot of worker.

He requested that those entrepreneurs able to create an innovation and a breakthrough oriented on employment absorption in the tourism sector.

"Jakarta Provincial Government focuses on tourism development in Kota Tua and Seribu Islands," he stated.

He targets entrepreneurs in the tourism sector can open 2,000-2,500 new jobs. Thus, it can contribute to economic growth in Jakarta.

"If we want to succeed, the key is the digital economy must always be connected with tourism," he said.
