Neon Box will Be Installed on Access Towards Asian Games Venues

Welcoming Asian Games, four venue accesses in East Jakarta will have 132 neon boxes. Currently it is under auction process. All neon boxes are targeted to be installed in the upcoming July.

East Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept. Head, Nurhidayat stated, neon boxes installation is carried out on the access of Jakarta Equestrian International Pulomas Horse Race, Velodrome Rawamangun, Pencak Silat TMII Hermitage and Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport.

"We're currently under auction process in East Jakarta Procurement Service Unit (ULP), with budget amounting to Rp 900 million. If it is finished, installation will be executed," he said, Wednesday (5/2).

According to him, the access area to Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport was fitted with neon box, as it became one of the enter-exit access for foreign guests, precisely from Airport to a number of hotels in Jakarta or vice versa.

"Inside the neon box, there is writing and logo of the Asian Games. In addition, there are pictures that show the type of sport in accordance with the existing venue," he stated.
