2,903 Elders in C. Jakarta will Get Jakarta Elder Card

Central Jakarta Social Sub-dept. has verified all elderly in the area. There are 2,903 needy elders in total who will get Jakarta Elder Card (KLJ).

We have registered 2,903 elders who have met the requirements from total 3,636 elders

"We have registered 2,903 out of 3,636 elders who have met the requirements," informed Susan Budi Susilowati, Head of Central Jakarta Social Sub-dept., Wednesday (5/2).

She added, verification has been done by volunteers and Social Sub-dept. personnel from working units until community welfare sections in eight sub-districts.

C. Jakarta Social Sub-dept. Verifies Jakarta Elder Card Holder Candidates

"KLJ will be distributed in the mid of May by DKI Bank for allotment in April," she mentioned.

Later on, KLJ receivers will get Rp 600 thousand every month via DKI Bank account. This card can be used to access cheap food aid and free Transjakarta bus rides.
