Vice Gov. Supports Bersih-Bersih Masjid Program

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno supports and appreciates Bersih-Bersih Masjid (cleaning mosque) program which is initiated by Indonesia Mosque Council (DMI).

This cleaning action is an initiative to prepare ourselves more in welcoming Ramadan

He conveyed, Jakarta Provincial Government is really grateful to all sides who have support in maintaining cleanliness in 400 mosques in Jakarta.

"This cleaning action is an initiative to prepare ourselves more in welcoming Ramadan," he expressed at Istiqlal Mosque, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (5/8).

Through this program, he hopes it can open more job opportunities, especially for mustahiq (the recipient) who live around mosque.

"They can have a chance to work by cleaning, guarding and taking care of mosque," he added.

For information, this Bersih-Bersih Masjid program is collaborating with popular artists such as Irwansyah and Dhini Aminarti to inspire people for more caring about mosque cleanliness.
