City DPRD has encouraged all local apparatus to optimize synergy with security forces to anticipate acts of terror and radicalism.

"This is a must, to quell the danger of terror and radicalism," expressed Riano P Ahmad, Chairman of City DPRD's Commission A, Monday (5/14).

He supports an appeal of Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan who asked residents to report suspicious things to the officer. At the very least, the report is submitted to the RT or RW in their respective neighborhoods.

"Because this is our participation and responsibility to maintain the security and comfort of the surrounding environment," he stressed.

It has become an obligation for the ranks of apparatus under Jakarta Provincial Government in ensuring the security of the residents.

"According to tagline of Maju Kotanya Bahagia Warganya (making a developed city for happier people), residents should be guaranteed not to be afraid of the threat of terror," he said.
