Sandi Invites Young People to Apply Clean and Healthy Lifestyle

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno invites young people to apply clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS).

Children, youth and young people are future leaders of the nation

Sandi disclosed, it can be done with diligent exercise, healthy eating, routine health check, keep the environment clean and away from drugs.

"Children, youth and young people are future leaders of the nation. Hopefully, with a fit body, the mind is also healthier," he expressed, after opening the People's Healthy Lifestyle Movement (Germas), at SMKN 27, Jalan Doktor Sutomo, Pasar Baru Urban Village, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (5/15).

Governor Wants KPLDH and PHBS Intensified

According to him, its implementation through Germas for SMK students will create gold generation for the nation of Indonesia in the future.

"The competitiveness of our nation lies in the young people, so children need to be given good nutrition intake," he explained.

He added, the measure of success in improving quality of life is the achievement of adequate health status. Therefore, Jakarta Provincial Government prioritizes promotive and preventive efforts without forgetting the curative and rehabilitative aspects.

"Germas becomes synergy of all stakeholders in improving the health of Jakarta residents in the future," he said.
