Bapemperda Proposes Two Draft Bylaws Discussion

"We start to review these two raperda with Public Hearings (RDPU) and several experts, academics and observers," explained Merry Hotma, Head of City Council's Bapemperda, Wednesday (5/15).

He stated, RDPU is held to complete the compiling process.

"Not only input that we can get, but we also can unify our perceptions about parking and PJU Tax thus its result can be perfect," she conveyed.

In the same location, Jakarta BPRD Head, Edi Sumantri mentioned, there are several reasons behind  proposed revision of those two perda.

"One of them is parking tax which is not updated since 2002. It is considered no longer compatible with recent economic growth and development," he stated.
