Dishub Deploys 30 Personnel to Check Homecoming Transportation

Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) deployed 30 mechanical test personnel to conduct ramp check on public transportation ahead of Eid 2018. Personnel will be placed in Pulogebang Terminal, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, and Rawamangun Terminal.

"We will check preparation of public transportation used for homecoming by conducting ramp check in terminals. Socialization is also done during fasting month. KIR test is still open but its operational hour is decreased from usual," informed Andri Yansyah, Jakarta Dishub Head after assembling with 106 KIR testers, at Pulogadung PKB, Thursday (5/17).

Pulogadung Motor Vehicle Testing Unit's Administration Section Head, Fatchuri added, ramp check is not only conducted in terminal, but also in bus pool and places used for public homecoming departure points.

"We will prepare one unit of vehicle emission test car in each terminals. Then on D-10 of Eid, we will build vehicle testing post," he stated.
