N. Jakarta Fire Sub-dept. Socializes Fire Anticipation via Leaflet

North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. are socializing the fire anticipation measures to the residents. It is conducted by distributing leaflets throughout the sub-district.

North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-dept., Satriadi Gunawan stated leaflet distribution is purposed to increase residents' awareness of what could cause a fire.

"Based on previous experiences, fire case during Ramadan is increasing, especially due to use of gas stove," he expressed, Tuesday (5/22).

Leaflet that has been distributed is reaching 2,500 sheets. The contain of these leaflets is about a vigilant appeal using a gas stove, technical guidance on early handling measures and emergency numbers that can be contacted when a fire occurs.

"Our target is crowded places, suc h as markets, mosques, RPTRAs, terminals and red lights," he stated.
