Pondok Bambu Fire Victims Have Received Aid

East Jakarta Social Sub-dept. has distributed aid for Pondok Bambu fire victims, Duren Sawit. Until now, fire victims are still staying in shelter tents on Jalan Inspeksi Kanal Banjir Timur (KBT).

From Monday evening to Tuesday dawn, we have distributed aid for the victims in Pondok Bambu

East Jakarta Social Sub-dept.'s Protection and Social Empowerment Section Head, Abdul Salam said, his side has distributed 200 food packages for the victims to break the fast and 200 food packages for pre-dawn meals (sahur). His side also prepared 30 sheets of mattress and 50 sheets of blankets.

Shelter Tents for Pondok Bambu Fire Victims Built

"From Monday evening to Tuesday dawn, we have distributed aid for the victims in Pondok Bambu. Shelter tents also have been prepared for them in Kanal Banjir Timur," he informed, Tuesday (5/22).

According to him, his side will continue to distribute aid for their needs.

For updated information, Pondok Bambu Urban Village, Angga Sastra Amidjaya informed, 9 permanent houses and 35 semi-permanent rented houses at RT 09/03 were burnt. While total evacuated fire victims are 60 families or 174 residents.
