North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. dredges water channel on Jl. Haji Murtado RT 07, RW 12 Tugu Utara Urban Village, Koja. It is targeted to finish by this week.
This channel has one meter depth and 60 cm wide
Koja Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Erlan informed, his side has dredged this 50 meters channel since Monday (5/21) and estimated it to finish this week.
Channel of Jalan Bungur Besar IV Normalized"This channel has one meter depth and 60 cm wide. Current condition is covered by 50 cm of mud," he stated, Tuesday (5/22).
According to him, not only mud, but there are also trash pile in this channel which is causing inundation when heavy rain falls for a long time.
His side deployed 60 personnel to dredge this channel. They start to work from morning to afternoon.
"We target it to finish in three days. At least, end of this week it could be completed," he mentioned.
