Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan asserted, even-odd policy is made to smoothen traffic flow around venues that is slated to be applied until Asian Games. It will be applied in the upcoming July.

According to him, this assertion needs to be done as a form of clarification regarding the outstanding issues that such odd-even policies will apply forever.
"Even-odd is only applied during Asian Games or for a month. After that all will be normal as usual," he expressed, after holding a meeting with INASGOC, at City Hall, Thursday (5/24).

Erick Thohir also has explained items that need solution," he stressed.In the meantime, INASGOC Chairman, Erick Thohir expressed his appreciation over Jakarta Provincial Government's contribution to succeed the event, including by providing free transportation for volunteers and journalists who use TransJakarta bus for coverage activities.
"There have been 7,000 local and international journalists who sign up. Thank you, Mr. Governor for your support and extraordinary decisions," he said.
