Anies Hopes JKN-KIS Membership in Jakarta to Hit 100 Percent

So, I said yesterday to the President, the city has 98 percent

Jakarta Provincial Government, received Universal Health Coverage Award for National Health Insurance (JKN) - Indonesia Health Card (KIS).

The award itself was officially handed over by Indonesian President, Joko Widodo towards Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan at Presidential Palace, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (5/23).

700 Citizens Flocked to BPJS Office to Get JKN Card

Anies acknowledged that JKN-KIS participant in November 2017 reached 78.78 percent of total population of Jakarta. Then, in May 2018, its amount became 10,146,399 people or 98.19 percent of people.

"So, I said yesterday to the President, the city has 98 percent. Mr. Jokowi says only 2 percent more, InsyaAllah (God willing) will be 100 percent," he said, at City Hall, Thursday (5/24).

Hopefully award that has been achieved could spur the JKN-KIS membership to reach 100 percent. One of the efforts that need to be done is to optimize population data synchronization with reality in public.

"Last night, I made a discussion with Head of Population and Civil Registration Dept. He was committed to speed up data synchronization completely," he uttered.
