W. Jakarta Prepares 500 Cleaning Personnel During Eid

West Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. Head, Edi Mulyanto said cleaning personnel are deployed to handle trash in eight West Jakarta's sub-districts.

He informed, recent waste volume from eight sub-districts in West Jakarta is around 1,200 tons per day.
"During Eid holiday, waste volume is usually reduced by 20-25 percent than regular days," he informed.
He is optimistic waste transporting during Eid holiday can be done as usual from resident settlements in West Jakarta to Bantar Gebang TPA.
His side has arranged work schedule for PHL and PNS to handle waste in eight sub-districts. This schedule will be implemented from June 8 until the end of Eid holiday.
"We will serve residents according to our duties and functions. Though it is public holidays, but waste transporting will continue to run," he affirmed.
