July 22, 600 Satpol PP Personnel Put on Standby

As many as 600 Satpol PP personnel will be put on standby on upcoming July 22 when the presidential election result announced by General Election Commission (KPU).

For upcoming July 22, there are 600 back up personnel put on standby at the City Hall. They will be ready to be deployed whenever needed

“From the beginning (of presidential election) until now, there are 30 Satpol PP personnel on guard in KPU. For upcoming July 22, there are 600 back up personnel put on standby at the City Hall. They will be ready to be deployed whenever needed. In addition, there are also 50 personnel standby at Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout,” stated Head of Jakarta Satpol PP, Kukuh Hadi Santoso, Sunday (7/20).

According to Santoso, Jakarta Satpol PP is also coordinating with the police and TNI the guard the city.

July 22, West Jakarta to Be Guarded by 3,000 Policemen

“I’m sure everything would run safely and peacefully,” he expressed.

Meanwhile, the City Police will implement layered security in KPU office on Jalan Imam Bonjol, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on July 22, 2014. The security will be done in every zone, starting from ring I until ring IV.

“In ring I, only invited guests with ID cards are allowed to enter. Anyone who enters into KPU office will be searched. As many as 3,421 policemen will be deployed to secure KPU office,” said City Police spokesman, Sr. Comr. Rikwanto.
