Fire Burns Food Stalls in Kali Adem Port

North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. deploys five water pumps and supporting unit from Penjaringan sector to handle fire in Kali Adem Port, Penjaringan.
The total area burned is about 15x10 meters
North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Head, Satriadi Gunawan said, three food stalls were burned because it was located beside pier's main building.
12 Fire Trucks Extinguish Fire in Pluit"It happened around 11.42 AM. When our personnel arrived, fire was huge," he stated, Saturday (6/9).
He explained, fire rapidly enlarged due to strong wind and also triggered by food stalls material which is made from flammable material. Fire can be fully extinguished for around 30 minutes.
He ensured there is no victim in this incident. His side predicted material loss due to this incident reaches Rp 120 million.
"The total area burned is about 15x10 meters. It is estimated that fire happened due to electric short circuit," he mentioned.
