Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno leads Asian Para Games 2018 Test Event Progress Support Meeting at City Hall. It reviews three major issues related to transportation, monitoring and maintenance of river located near Wisma Atlet and OK OCE outlet at Tower 7 of Kemayoran Wisma Atlet, Central Jakarta.

Sandi mentioned, Asian Para Games test event on June 25-July 4 is held to measure its readiness thus facilities and infrastructures that need improvement can be completed soon.

"Today is D-3 ahead of Asian Para Games test event and 80 days before Asian Para Games opening. We want to all preparation to be done optimally by conducting test event," he affirmed, Friday (6/22).

During test event, 170 disabled-friendly transportation units will be tested. Since parking lot at Wisma Atlet can only accommodate 52 big buses, his side plans to use parking lot at Block C3 managed by Kemayoran Complex Management Center (PPK).

"Committee will ask Kemayoran PPK as soon as possible thus parking lot at Block C3 is allowed to be used," he added.

In this meeting, his side also discussed about arrangement in Sunter Selatan Lake area including normalization on river, reservoir, and water channels.

"I appreciated since Sentiong River is no longer smell. But it needs continuous and more detailed handling and use Nano Bubble technology to clean the water if possible," he said.

His side is welcoming well OK OCE outlet at Tower 7 of Wisma Atlet. But he reminds that economy activity which is done to open job opportunities should be monitored well.

"Arrangement can be done together with colleagues in OK OCE and Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade Dept. Later on, we will try apply sell based on time to discipline the traders," he conveyed.
