Water Channel's Cover on Jl. Gatot Subroto Repaired

Water channel's cover located on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Kuningan Barat, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta has been stolen and now it is repaired through coordination from local urban village side and South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept.

Kuningan Barat Urban Village Head, Erwin Lobo said, only one water channel's cover is stolen. Though this problem is actually not  endanger road users even if it is not handled immediately.

"Water channel's cover on Jalan Gatot Subroto in front of Palm Court is stolen this morning. Its location is near Mampang Kuningan Underpass," he informed, Sunday (6/24).

Repair on Jl. Dermaga Water Channel Targeted to Finish Next Week

He explained, the stolen channel's cover is 60x60 cm wide. His side got the report of missing channel's cover from PPSU personnel on duty.

"We get report from PPSU personnel who is sweeping the road. Then we coordinate with Bina Marga Sub-dept. to handle this problem," he mentioned.

According to him, South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. has replaced the cover permanently. Previously, urban village side has secured the channel by installing road barrier.

"We will keep monitoring thus similar incident is not happen again," he affirmed.
