2,400 Koja Public Figures Accompany Asian Games Replica Torch Run

Asian Games 2018 Replica Torch Parade preparation in Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta continues to be reviewed. 2,400 public figures are planned to run around the villages on July 15.

He explained, replica torch will be brought running to Tugu Selatan Urban Village, Rawa Badak Selatan Urban Village, then to Rawa Badak Selatan Urban Village. Replica torch will be brought running around for an hour in each urban villages.
"Our target is to complete those three urban villages after dzuhur (around midday) then taking a break. Next, it continues to three others urban villages," he added.
Around 1 PM, replica torch will be carried to run towards Koja Urban Village, Lagoa, and Tugu Utara before it is handed back to Koja Sub-district.
Each urban villages should prepare its running route. While running, local public figures will accompany runner team until they go ahead to the next urban village.
He estimated 400 public figures from each urban village will join to accompany replica torch. Urban village sides will also distribute pamphlets thus local residents can join to enliven the running route.
Sub-district office holds entertainment stage and OK OCE bazaar while replica torch is taken around the villages. Sub-district will prepare 20 free booths for 40 OK OCE entrepreneurs from Koja Sub-district.
"We have coordinate this event with police, TNI, and other related stakeholders. According to plan, replica torch will return to sub-district around 4 PM," he mentioned.
