North Jakarta Government cooperates with BPJS in giving registration service in 31 urban villages. 1,173 people registered as BPJS member during May 2017-June 2018 period.

North Jakarta BPJS Kesehatan Branch Manager, Elisa Adam mentioned, North Jakarta has achieved Universal Health Covering (UHC) predicate since May 2018. Because 96 percent of its population are categorized in universal health coverage thus their health is protected by qualified and continuous JKN-KIS health insurance.

She admitted, this can be achieved because of cooperation with North Jakarta Government that provides registration drop box service in urban villages, shopping centers, markets, worship places, and apartments.
Besides, her side also holds workshop to every urban villages continuously and educate the residents about BPJS Kesehatan services. She hopes this workshop can encourage more people to register as BPJS member.
"In the near future, we will evaluate our workshop in urban village together with North Jakarta Government to make it more optimal," she conveyed.
She added
her side currently has 123 first-level health facilities (FKTP)s consist of 51 pratama clinics, 9 TNI clinics, 7 Police clinics, 55 Puskesmas, and general practitioner."We keep trying to improve our service. Today we hold executive front liner activity to get input and needs for service improvement," she mentioned.
