Jakarta Health Dept. committed to maintain food quality and health of athletes from 45 countries who will compete in Asian Games on August 18.
All personnel will be placed in hotels where athletes stay
Jakarta Health Dept. Head, Koesmedi Priharto mentioned, his side will deploy 55 food safety personnel to ensure athlete's food quality and safety during Asian Games period.

He explained, personnel will check from raw materials, food material picking up process, until its processing.
"Including food before it is served. All of it becomes our food safety personnel's responsibility," he stated.
Tens personnel also need to inventory and check food in restaurants located near the Asian Games 2018 venues. It is done to ensure food safety for those athletes.
"We will put safe food sticker in restaurants that we have checked," he conveyed.
