Bojong Reservoir Water Pumps will Be Revitalized

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. will revitalize facilities and infrastructures for flood prevention in Bojong Reservoir, Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-dept. Head, Imron mentioned, revitalization is done to prevent inundation in Rawa Buaya and surrounding areas.

BKM-PII Is Hoped to Contribute in Handling Flood

"House building and pumps in Bojong Reservoir will be revitalized to prevent inundation in Rawa Buaya and its surrounding. Currently it is in auction process," he informed, Saturday (7/7).

He said, house facilities and six pumps with total capacity 500 liters per second located at Bojong Reservoir are never been repaired since submitted from developer to Jakarta Government.

"House and pump facilities for flood prevention is totally repaired to follow up resident's request," he added.

Currently, four of six pumps for flood prevention in Bojong Reservoir can't be functioned.

"Temporarily, we provide two trailer mounted pumps with capacity 1,000 liters per second," he explained.

He targeted house building and flood control pump procurement to finish this year.
