Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. once again monitored food safety quality control in Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta.
From test results, all samples are negative from dangerous materials
This time, it was done by examining 40 samples of fresh product consisting of 11 samples of fruits and 29 samples of vegetable.

He mentioned that a number of fruit samples examined were melon, watermelon, star fruit, apple, and grape. While the vegetable samples were consisting of red curly pepper, red pepper, tomato, cauliflower, spinach, cabbage, green onion and lime.
The examination itself was focused on detecting hazardous materials such as pesticide and formalin residues.
"Hopefully it can create certainty to the people not to worry consuming fruit products in Kramat Jati Market," he said.
