Welcoming Asian Games, Jati Pulo Youths Create Murals

Jakartans will hold various activities to welcome Asian Games that will be started in August 2018 in Jakarta.

We create murals and install Asian Games ornaments independently

For example, youths at RW 08, Jati Pulo, Palmerah, West Jakarta who create some murals and install Asian Games ornaments.

Those ornaments are 45 countries flags, banners, and Asian Games stickers installed along settlement's alley.

Asian Games Mural Decorates Marunda Urban Village

The initiator and donator for this activity, Muhamad Ridwan said, youths from Karang Taruna, Lembaga Musyawarah Kelurahan (LMK) and Majelis Taklim At-Taubah of RW 08 are involved in making these murals.

"We create murals and install Asian Games ornaments independently," he mentioned, (7/14).

He conveyed, his team has completed painting murals of three mascots Asian Games, Bhin Bhin, Atung and Kaka by 3 AM.

"Alhamdulillah, Asian Games 2018 mascots murals are completed at today's dawn. We will continue to paint Asian Games icon tonight," he expressed.

According to him, this activity can be done through synergy between LMK 08 Jati Pulo, Karang Taruna, and Majelis Taklim At-Taubah.

"It relates with Asian Games 2018 slogan, Energy of Asia. The spirit of mutual cooperation is originally owned by Indonesian people who are united for one purpose," he said.
