Facilities Arrangement Along Torch Relay Route must Be More Maximized

South Jakarta Mayor, Marullah Matali, revealed that arrangement of facilities and infrastructures (sarpras) in the Torch Relay route should be more maximized.

Stakeholders and SKPDs must further maximize its arrangement

It is because there are still public facilities that must be repaired, such as sidewalks, drainages, and parks.

"Stakeholders and SKPDs must further maximize its arrangement," he expressed, Tuesday (7/17).

One that needs to be improved is the sidewalk on Jalan Margasatwa, precisely starting from the intersection of Mangga Besar to Agriculture. Moreover, the Torch Relay will be held on August 15, 2018.

"I think box culvert improvement is too open. So I want the related unit to fix it. There are also some sidewalks that can be maximized," he stressed.

Pasar Minggu Sub-district Head, Agus Irwanto added has coordinated with Bina Marga Dept. to conduct improvement.

"Some also have been repaired," he told.

In his region, there are 20 points of posts inside Torch Relay. Each post has a distance of 500 meters. Every runner would carry a torch alternately in the post.

"Totally there will be 20 runners," he told.
