"Seven overgrown banyan trees need to be pruned. Because it interferes lighting and also prone to fall," said Sabdo Kurnianto, Head of Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept., Tuesday (7/24).
72 Trees in South Jakarta PrunedAccording to him, tree maintenance and pruning in the area are needed to be done intensively considering this location is near National Palace.
"It is also a part of Segitiga Park maintenance which is in greening progress," he stated.
He explained, 25 personnel are deployed for park maintenance and tree pruning.
