One-month trial of odd-even policy expansion on several roads generates better air quality in Jakarta.
Due to evaluation result on the field, Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) Head, Andri Yansyah informed, vehicle travel time during odd-even policy trial which is done on July 2-31, 2018 is decreased from 15.56 minutes into 13.68 minutes.

He admitted, vehicle travel time from Kebayoran Lama to Metro Pondok Indah could reach 20 minutes. But after odd-even policy trial, that route can be reached within 15 minutes.
Furthermore, vehicle travel time from Sudirman to Istana Merdeka which is previously reached 30 minutes now it decreases into 25 minutes. Decrease on vehicle travel time also affects vehicle's average speed.
"Before trial, vehicle's average speed is around 20.63 kilometers per hour. Now it increases into 23.14 kilometers per hour," he added.
