Anies Inaugurates Pulomas Jakarta International Equestrian Park

This venue will be our pride in Asian Games

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan inaugurates one of Asian Games XVIII venues, Pulomas Jakarta International Equestrian Park (JIEP), on Jalan Pulo Mas Jaya, East Jakarta.

He appreciates all parties for their hard work, including workers on the field who are able to construct Pulomas JIEP based on international standard on time.

Sandi Ensures Jakarta Equestrian Park Ready For Asian Games

This equestrian venue is equipped with tribune that can accommodate 990 audiences and disabled-friendly. It is also equipped with VIP room and other best quality facilities.

"Today, we are witnessing equestrian construction phase. This venue will be our pride in Asian Games," he stated, Thursday (8/2).

He hopes, Pulomas JIEP facilities and infrastructures can support our equestrian athletes to excel at international level.

"We want this place to train our talented athletes to international level. Besides, there will be more international event held in this place," he conveyed. 

Starting this September, he added, Education Dept., Youth and Sport Dept., and all communities are able to use this facilities. 

"I also hope Tourism Dept. can promote it and makes preparation for any local or foreign tourists who want to visit. Please use this equestrian as tourism attraction with great potentials and facilities," he affirmed.

Meanwhile, PT. Pulo Mas Jaya President Director, Bambang Mursalin mentioned, Pulomas JIEP has international standard and certified as Equine Disease Free Zone (EDFZ). This certification is received from World Organization for Animals Health (OIE) in Paris and Council of European Union (EU) in Brussels.

"These can be achieved through a solid collaboration between Jakarta Provincial Government, Agriculture Ministry, PT. Pulo Mas Jaya and local residents who are committed to maintain equestrian venue according to international standard," he explained.
