Tambora Run 5K Once Again Held

The Tambora Run 5K once again held by West Jakarta Vice Mayor, M Zein at Kalijodo RPTRA, Sunday (8/12).

It has been held twice and becomes a routine agenda that involved by thousands of people from 11 urban villages

In his speech, he stated that it was held to welcome the 73rd Independence Day and Asian Games.

"It has been held twice and becomes a routine agenda that involved by thousands of people from 11 urban villages, Tambora Sub-district. By so, locals are ready to welcome the upcoming Asian Games," he stated.

Tambora Sub-district Head, Djaharudin explained that it was participated by 2,500 people and witnessed by 5,000 spectators.

"Every participant who is allowed to take part in the race are domiciled in Tambora Sub-district. The route starts from the front of Kalijodo RPTRA to Season City Mall," he explained.

To enliven it, his party also held an art performance and culinary bazaar at the finish location.

"We held dance events, martial arts and Betawi cultural performances to welcome runners who arrived at the finish line," he stated.

The winner of male category was achieved by Billy Nansel, Dava Raiha, Nurdin, and Nermawan Adi Saputra.

Then the winner of female category was achieved by Dewi Marcella, Fransiska, Fellycia, and Dela Apriyani. 

As for the winners of the first to runner up prize in this competition, they received awards and coaching money of Rp 750 thousand to Rp 1.5 million
